Gerard McDonnell - Climbing Leader

His highest achievement was the successful summit of Everest in May of last year with the Irish Everest Expedition, including three nights spent above 8000m. Gerard hails from County Limerick of Ireland, but has been in Alaska since 1997. He has been on the slopes and summits of Denali, Mt Foraker, Mt Hunter, and Mt Marcus Baker, among many others. When not climbing, Gerard may be found dog mushing or adventure motorcycling, while his musical talents, and cracking sense of humor will be welcome assets to the team.
